Today is the last Monday in February AND the last Monday of class!

1. We'll finish up Chpt 2 together.
2. Apply 2-1 on p128. This is in your folder (Bike Deliverers). Do #1 and 2. Copy the queries to a Word document and print just one page. Type your name in.
3. Lab 2-1 on p131. This is in my folder also (chpt 2 - JMS Techwizards). Don't do #7-13. ***For Step 7 Query - Make a query that shows all of the clients NOT living in Kingston. Copy your queries to a Word document. Remember to name the queries correctly.

Tues: no class
Weds: 1/2/3 hrs - Finish up Access
Thurs: 3/4/5 hrs - Finish up Access
Fri: normal - Review for exam & possibly start PPT exam

Friday, February 25

1. Open VMware.
2. You have 20 minutes to finish yesterday's work.
3. We'll start Access Chapter 2 together. If you're done with work from yesterday, feel free to get started on chpt 2.

Thursday, February 24

1. Access - we will finish up chapter 1 QUICKLY. That means - Open VMware!!
2. Apply 1-1 p64
3. Extend 1-1 p65

Wednesday, February 23

Welcome back!

1. You'll get your test back - good job!! Scantron scores will be inputted today after school.
2. You'll get a treat! I didn't keep an up to date record of assignments turned in, so no one won the competition - you'll all get a little something.
3. Access - we have very little time to get through Access. This means that we are done with keyboarding. If you want to do more lessons (through 11), you can, but you have to let me know. Lesson 10 and 11 won't count against you if you don't do them.

Friday, February 18

Test day! We'll take the written (scantron) excel test and the application parts today. The application part is in my Excel folder on the student server.

Typing and revisions are also due today! I don't know who won the contest yet, but we'll celebrate Monday.

Thursday, February 17

Today is the 100th day of school!!

1. Work on typing. Lesson 9 is due on Friday.
2. Look at your missing assignments (I will give you a list) and finish up any missing Excel assignments. Also, do any revisions for Excel.
3. Look at scsite.com/ex2007/learn I took all of the questions for the test tomorrow, from the Multiple Choice and True/False sections.

Wednesday, February 16

1. Work on typing Lesson 9. It is due on Friday.
2. We are going to do Apply Your Knowledge on p229 together first.
3. Finish up past activities (Make it Right p232, Lab 2 p237 part 1 - in my folder)

4. Do any revisions! They are due on Friday.

Valentine's Day!

1. Finish up typing Lesson 8. It is due at the end of the hour today. If you're done, get ahead on Lesson 9.
2. We'll finish up Chapter 3 together!

FRIDAY, February 11

1. Typing - Work on Lesson 8. Due Monday at the end of the hour.
2. Finish up Lab from yesterday. We did Lab 1 from Chapter 1 (just part 1). It starts on page 149.
3. We'll do Chapter 3 together. It starts on page 162.

Thrusday, February 10

1. Typing! (We're almost done!) Lesson 8 is due Monday at the end of the hour.
2. Make it Right 2-1, p148 (skip #1)
3. Lab 1 part 1 only, p149 (skip #2, work together to figure out the formulas)
Remember to PRINT FORMULA SHEET. Each sheet should fit on 1 page.

1. Typing - finish up Lesson 7; it is due today at the end of the hour. If you're done with that, work on Lesson 8 so you are a little bit ahead.
2. We'll finish up Chapter 2 of Excel together. When we are done we'll print that and the formula sheet. Try to print on printer #1 because we are out of ink on the other one. Remember to type your name in!!
3. Apply 2-1 on page 146. It is in my folder!

1. Typing: work on Lesson 7. It is due at the end of the hour tomorrow!
2. Chapter 2: We are going to do this together. As always, if you understand the info, feel free to jump ahead of me.

Monday, February 7

1. Typing- Lesson 7 is due Wednesday at the end of the hour.
2. Do Lab 3, which starts on page 77. Do parts 1 and 2. You only need to print after Part 2. **The Exploded Pie Chart is new!

Friday, February 4

1. Typing - Finish Lesson 6 for today.
2. Lab 1 on page 74. Just do #1-6. BEFORE YOU PRINT: Remember to TYPE your name into the spreadsheet, print it LANDSCAPE and check Print Preview to make sure your columns are big enough.

Tuesday the first day of February

** If possible, please print to Printer #1. The other one is running out of ink!

1. Work on typing. Lesson 6 is due tomorrow at the end of class.
2. We'll finish up the introduction to Excel. (type your name in + print)
3. Do Apply 1-1 p.71 and Extend 1-1 p.72. They are both in my folder. Remember to type your name in and print.
